SURVEY ON CHURCH ACCOUNTABILITY The Catholic Lay Interparish Partnership (CLIP) was formed among Atlanta-area parishes in response to the church leadership crises of 2018. The group seeks increased accountability, transparency, and co-responsibility (i.e., cooperation between clergy and laity) in the administration of church affairs. CLIP is undertaking a survey of local Catholics on these three issues. The results will eventually be shared with the new archbishop so that he can better understand the priorities and aspirations of the local Catho-lic community. Complete the survey online at http://bit.ly/AquinasClipSurvey.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL The Parish Pastoral Council is the consultative body that advises the pastor in planning and sustaining the pastoral life of the parish. ADVENT REFLECTION “Our hope is that the winter of humanity will gradually be transformed to the bursting forth of love, for it is to this that we are called. We will pass through the winter of suffering to the kingdom of God and rebirth. We can begin to sense them already, as the peace of the Spirit comes into our hearts, quelling bitterness and recreating hope. We sense the light which is a tiny sign of what we are called to live in the glory of the wed-ding feast of eternity.” Jean Vanier (1928-2019)
