The T7900 performs as the gatekeeper ofthe Visuality system. When used withPatton’s Visuality™ T771X remote units, aT7910 operator can have total and secure controlof up to 24 remote units from a single point ofmanagement. It provides a comprehensive pic-ture of all field units, their configuration settings,and status.

The T7900 terminates encrypted tunnels (IPsecusing 256-bit AES encryption), and combinesincoming audio-visual and GPS data, making itavailable to authorized users over the local network.

All command-and-control traffic is sent overencrypted tunnels, ensuring end-to-end security.

The GPS data is formatted for use with theGoogle® Earth™ Geographic Information System(GIS) which enables the T7900 to display thelocations of T771X remotes—in real-time—over-laid onto street maps and satellite imagery.

The T7900 is a full-fledged edge-router, VPN,and firewall solution running Patton’s TrinityApplication Environment (TrinityAE™) operatingsystem. It provides integrated authentication andauthorization of users, IP interface, and routingconfiguration, DNS and DHCP servers, and qual-ity of service (QoS) management.

Users can monitor T771X remotes in real-timefrom the Web Management Interface (WMI) pageof the primary T7900 server. From the WMI,users can update the database of registeredT771X remotes to add or remove remotes, andassign remotes to primary or secondary T7900servers. The WMI page also includes status of theT771X remotes.

T7910 Visuality Secure Command & Control Server

The T7900 is the gatekeeper forthe headend system. It terminatesthe VPN connections originatingfrom remote T771X units andremote user equipment, such asPersonal Digital Assistants (PDAs)and provides end-to-end secureconnectivity between them. Itaggregates the audio-visual con-tent and GPS data coming fromthe remote units and distributes itover the local network. It resolvesand distributes command and con-trol information emanating fromuser applications.
