Transition
• Proposal to increase nursery capacity
• All stages are moving wings
• P1 classes are moving into current P2 wing
• New P1 wing will be set up as 3 classes

Changes to School
On the first day of school, Tuesday 22nd August, children will come to school in two sessions. These
sessions will be:
Session 1: 8.50am – 10.20am
Session 2: 10.30am – 12.00pm
Information about which session your child will attend is in the P1 information pack.
After the first school day, children will do half days
at school. This will be from:
Wednesday 23rd August to Friday 1st September
Timings of the half days:
Mon – Thurs 8.50am – 12.15pm Friday 8.50am – 12.15pm
The full school day will commence on Monday 4th September.
Monday to Thursday 8.50am to 3.25 pm Friday 8.50am to 12.25 pm.

• If your child is unwell, telephone the school by 9.00am
• If your child becomes unwell at school, a member of staff will contact you to discuss
We have a large range of items available to order as part of our school uniform.
We actively encourage the wearing of full school uniform. Please ensure that all clothing and footwear is clearly labelled.
School uniform consists of: - School shoes
- School trousers or skirt
- School sweatshirt
- Shirt and tie
- Dress/pinafore
- Summer dress
A gym bag with the following: • Pair of shorts • T shirt (no football colours) • Spare pair of socks (girls) • Gym rubbers • hair band (for pupils with longer hair)
• Please make sure that all items are clearly labelled.
School bags should be big enough to hold an A4 book or folder.
Purple book bags should be brought to school everyday.
Pencil cases should have pencils, coloured pencils, a rubber and a sharpener.

• Provide advice and support for a range of learning needs
We have a milk time each day. Milk order forms are available in your pack. Pupils with free school meal entitlement will be given milk.
If you do not wish for your child to have milk, please provide water or diluted juice for them to drink at this time. We have this as part of milk and story Time each day.
We are encouraging healthy snacks for playtime.
Pupils will be given a piece of fruit on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.
