MATERIALS USEDTEAKThe durability and quality of Parker Boyd teakcombined with its beautiful aesthetic propertiesmake it an ideal timber for outdoor use. Teak woodhas a very high oil content which does not requireany oiling to protect or extend its lifespan.Small surface cracks may appear due to the weatherchanges and the wood drawing in and releasingmoisture. This will not affect the strength anddurability of the timber.Color and weatheringOn exposure to the elements color variations steadilyeven out and eventually weather to an elegant silvergrey. If however you want to maintain the originalcolor we recommend use a teak sealer on a regularbasis. To help protect frame any staining werecommend the use of a teak protector which givesyou time to clean upCleaningIf your table does require cleaning please use a softbristled brush or soft scourer with mild soapy water.Do not use harsh detergents. The timber should bethoroughly wet before any cleaning takes place.

FABRICParker Boyd uses Sunproof fabric which is a solutiondyed acrylic fabric made for outdoor use. We alsouse Cellfoam for the cushions which allows water torun. If your fabric requires cleaning please use mildsoapy water and wipe cushions clean then rinse withclean water. Do not take covers off and machinewash

SLING/TEXTILENESling is the term used for the material used in seatsand backs of chairs. It is an open mesh fabric madefrom a vinyl coated polyester yarn. We use Batylinesling material which is rated as one of the topperforming brands in its class.

ALUMINIUMParker Boyd aluminium is a light and tough metalwith excellent strength. It is corrosive resistantmaking it an ideal metal for outdoor use.
