To avoid possible danger to personal life and property, please read carefully “Cautions” and operate properlyThe battery used in this unit is NiMH type. Please recharge it in accordance with this manual

Do not put the battery into fire or expose it to high heat to avoid discharge of the electrolyteDo not disassemble or modify the battery to avoid electrolyte leakageDo not connect battery’s positive and negative polar with metal part, store or transport the battery with metal necklace, etc. Do not connect or use this battery with other devices to avoid high battery temperature, broken or electrolyte leakage.Do not charge the battery separately to avoid cell temperature rising, broken or electrolyte leakage.

NOTEThe unit can not operate during recharging.

Insert AC adaptor’s DC plug into Charging Stand’s DC port Turn off the unitPlace the unit on charging stand firmly. Charge indication lamp illuminates in RED color.

Charging stand is supposed to be placed horizontally. During charging, unit and AC adaptor’s temperature will arise a little which is a normal condition.

Suggestions:

Cleaning Brush ApplicatorIt is better to use HI setting with cleaning brush applicator.

Massaging ApplicatorIt is better to use LOW setting with massaging applicator. It is highly recommended to use this applicator when using hair care medication, like pilatory.

When too much pressure is applied to the scalp during operation, it will trigger safety protection system. The unit will shut off automatically and the blue lamp will blink for 7 seconds. After the blue light stops blinking the unit can be turned on again by pressing the on switch button.

Stabbing Air Vent Hole might hurt the waterproof membrane under Air Vent. If waterproof membrane is damaged, it will affect this device’s waterproof function.

Fully charge the unit before its first use or if it has been stored for more than six months.During charging, if any interference with the TV occurs, please use another outlet for charging.Charging stops automatically after 2 hours. Exchange Applicators

Suggested Operations

Correct: Applicator is moving upward and downward strongly

Wrong: Loop not fixed with hook. So, applicator just has very little upward movement

Please turn off the unit before apply or exchange applicators.

Hold applicator with one hand at its long end and bend it upward. This exposes the loop under applicator for easy connection with unit’s hook. Fix loop with hook on main unit. Hold the unit with the other hand. Fix applicator’s ridges around the unit.

After usage, remove applicator’s ridge from the unit. Bend it at the long end and take it out from unit’s hook.

Wash hair gently with warm water first.

Applicators: Use HI setting for hair cleaning with Brush Applicator.Use LOW setting for scalp massaging with Massaging Applicator.

Put some shampoo on hand and massage intofine foam to apply on hair.

Pressing button over 0.5 seconds to turn on the unit. Then, work on scalp. Move continuously on scalp from upper to lower. To clean entire scalp takes roughly 3~4 minutes.

Do NOT use a great deal of force to remove the applicator form the unitApply or remove the applicator only when the unit is not in operation.

Do NOT use the unit when you have any scalp problem, like dermatitis.

Waterproof Membrane

Wipe clean with cloth.

Every 6 months, use dry towel to wipe clean the pin of AC adaptor and Charge Stand.

Clean applicators used:

Clean the unit:

Towel dry both unit and applicators, then, air dry completely.

Flush applicators clean.Shake off any water remaining on applicators.

Flush clean the unit. (The unit is waterproof, flushing is the best way to clean the unit). Dry any water remaining on unit after flushing.

After the unit is completely dry, place it on charging stand for recharging preparing for next usage.

Shower away remaining shampoo on hair. Clean the applicators under the shower. Hand wash hair, then, towel dry.

When hair medication used, like pilatory, please note following procedures After cleaning your scalp thoroughly, put pilatory on scalp evenly. Use the unit with massaging applicator at LOW setting to help absorption. HIGH setting is not recommended to avoid too much stimulation to the scalp.

After each usage, thoroughly clean the unit and all applicators, especially after using some hair care products, like pilatory.

For first usage, please use LOW setting to make sure no hurt on scalpDuring usage, do not press the unit hardly on scalpDo NOT use the unit at one position for a long time.During usage, in case of hair entangled, stop the unit immediately.Do NOT stretch hair hardly to avoid hurting hair and scalpNormally HI setting is recommended for cleaning purpose.

Please do not use hot water over 45ºC(or 113ºC) to clean the applicator.

Do NOT dry the unit with blower or drier.

Thoroughly flush clean the unit and applicators after each usage of hair care products, like pilatory. Some pilatory’s chemical components will damage the unit’s outer case. Then, towel and air-dry all parts.Use a clean cloth to wipe the charging pin on both the unit and the Charging Stand.

Do NOT use sharp tools to remove any hair on the unit. Sharp tool will damage unit’s waterproof design.Do not use hot water over 45ºC (or 113 ºC) to clean the unit.

Keep the unit away from children. Do not let them use or play with the unit to avoid electric shock or other injuries.Do NOT store Charging Stand and AC adaptor in water, or places with high humidify, like bath room. Avoid high temperatures or direct sunlight.

Unit discardThe NiMH rechargeable battery is a precious resource and recyclable. After damage, please take out battery to specified recyclable place.

Methods to take out battery from the unit:

Please make sure the unit is pressed off before torn open. No LED signals on panel. Strew out 7 screws on bottom case.

Take out hook, bottom case, waterproof membrane and anti-slippery side case.

Strew out another 5 screws on inner case.

Take out inner case away from main unit.

Troubleshooting

Abnormality

The unit fails to turn on after the Switch is pressed

Failure to charge; after placing the unit on the charging stand, the red charging lamp does not illuminate

Low battery. Please charge the unit.

The unit may be operating abnormal and requires repair.

Even charged once again, operation time is still pretty short. This means the battery needs to be replaced. NIMH is a consumptive item and is not under warranty. Please consult with the distributor you purchase this unit from. Do NOT replace battery by yourselves as battery replacement may affect the unit’s waterproof function.

Recommended Action

During use, the battery temperature will rise. The battery must cool before is begins to charge. So, taking more than 2 hours for charging after immediate usage is normal.

Reattach the applicator

Use clean cloth or cotton sticker to wipe clean.

Please use the unit within the recommended temperature range 0~40ºC (32~104ºF)

Pressing the Switch more than 0.5 seconds.

Re-place the unit on the charging stand. Avoid tilting.

Sometimes battery level is very low which takes longer time for charging

This triggers a safety mechanism to stop the unit. After 7 seconds, lamp stops blinking and the unit can be turned on again for use.

Re-place the unit on charging stand. In case lamp still blinks when unit is placed correctly, battery may need to be replaced. Please consult with the distributor you purchase this unit from.
