Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on MSG, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn. • New York will take its five-match unbeaten streak into one of the toughest stadiums in MLS. Since 2013, New England has tallied the fourth-most league wins at home with 55 and the Red Bulls are just 2-3-1 in Foxborough during that stretch. New York, however, won back-to-back road matches against the Revolu- tion last season, earning a hard-fought 3-2 league win at Gillette and then a 1-0 victory at Jordan Field on the campus of Harvard. • Goalkeeper Ryan Meara has stepped in valiantly during captain Luis Robles’ absence for New York. Kaku will be with the team for the New England match, but will join the Paraguay National team on June 5 for their international friendly against Japan on June 12. • New York breaks up league play with a Fourth Round Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against rival NYCFC on Wednesday, June 6 at Red Bull Arena. LAST TIME OUT VERSUS NEW ENGLAND• Substitute Gonzalo Veron’s 90th minute goal for the visiting New York Red Bulls shocked the host New England Revolution and the Gillette Stadium crowd as it snatched a victory for the Red Bulls in most dramatic fashion.• Veron, who came on late in the second half to replace striker Bradley Wright-Phillips, ran on to a pass from Felipe and slotted it in the far corner past New England ‘keeper Cody Cropper. It broke a 2-2 that had been forged after Daniel Royer converted a penalty in the 55th minute. New England had taken a 2-1 lead into halftime, on goals by Teal Bunbury and Lee Nguyen, sand-wiching a spectacular volley from Wright-Phillips.

CLUB CONNECTIONS• Defender Aurelien Collin and New England’s Teal Bunbury were teammates at Sporting Kansas City from 2011 through 2013.• Forward/midfielder Derrick Etienne, Jr., and New England midfielder Zachary Herivaux are Haitian teammates for the national team.• New England’s Juan Agudelo is a native of New Jersey and was a New York Red Bull from 2010 to 2012.• Revolution defender Claude Dielna is the cousin of former New York Red Bulls defender Ronald Zubar

The Red Bulls striker moved into tie with Robbie Keane for fourth all-time in league history with 20 multi-goal performances.• In just his first start as a Red Bull, Carlos Rivas recorded his first career MLS brace in a span of 13 minutes against the Portland Timbers on March 10.• Rivas, Wright-Phillips, Daniel Royer and Tyler Adams are the only three active New York Red Bulls players to have recorded at least one brace in their MLS career.

ALL COMPETITIONS, ALL THE TIME• Daniel Royer and Bradley Wright-Phillips hit major marks in Red Bull jerseys against Olimpia on Thursday, Feb. 22.• Royer’s first-half goal gave him a goal in all four major American competitions (MLS Regular-Season, MLS Playoffs, U.S. Open Cup and CONCACAF Champions League) to raise his total to 17.• It took Royer just 42 games across all compe-titions to check off a goal in each competition as a Red Bull.• Wright-Phillips also accomplished a feat with his assist on Royer’s goal as he now has tallied a goal and an assist in all four major competi-tions. • In 185 games played across all competitions, BWP has accrued 111 goals and 26 assists.• Tyler Adams joined Royer and Wright-Phillips in the second leg against Olimpia. Adams tal-lied an assist on Sean Davis’s goal to give him an assist in four different competitions in just 38 career matches. THE ILLUMINATI EFFECT• Ben Mines made the most of his MLS debut against Portland as he scored his first career goal. The number 17, however, is what made Mines’s MLS debut and what he did interesting.• Mines, who is 17 years old, wears number 17. When he scored, the clock read 17 minutes and he was assisted by Derrick Etienne, Jr. and Alejandro R. Gamarra, who wear number 10 and 7, respectively.• Outside of those coincidences, Mines became the 15th youngest player in league history to score an MLS regular-season goal. Mines ranks third all-time in franchise history behind Eddie Gaven and Jozy Altidore for the franchise’s youngest goalscorer.• Mines also became the fifth youngest player to score on debut in MLS history and sec-ond-youngest starter in his debut, per Elias Sports Bureau.

CAREER HONORS• MLS COACH OF THE YEAR (2015)

JESSE MARSCH was named the 15th coach in New York franchise history on January 7, 2015. In three years, Marsch has led the team to the 2015 Supporters’ Shield, three-straight MLS playoff appearances, 2017 U.S. Open Cup final and a quarterfinal appearance of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.

Marsch was named MLS Coach of the Year in 2015 after his team posted an 18-10-6 record, tied for best overall with FC Dallas, and a league-best +19 goal differential. The 18 wins set a new franchise record, as did 12 wins at home, and 60 points earned. Marsch’s side led MLS in scoring in 2015 with 62 goals, and was only shut out twice during the regular season. The Red Bulls also allowed the fewest goals in the Eastern Conference.

Marsch opened his tenure with a seven-game unbeaten streak, the longest in MLS that season. New York spent the entire season at or near the top of the Eastern Conference standings, and went 14-5-1 over the last 20 games on the run to the Supporters’ Shield.

Marsch’s side was also tough on the road, posting the second-most road wins in MLS with a 6-7-4 record, scoring the most road goals (27) and finishing as the only team in MLS with a positive road goal differential.

In 2016, Marsch’s side started slow, opening the season with a 1-6-0 run. Despite the poor start, the club went on a 20-game unbeaten run to end the regular season, spanning 16 MLS matches and all four group stage games of the CONCACAF Champions League. The Red Bulls finished 16-9-9, again the best record in the Eastern Conference.

During the 2017 season, Marsch guided New York in three different competitions, playing in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, reaching the U.S. Open Cup final and appearing in the MLS playoffs for the third consecutive season. The Red Bulls finished sixth in Eastern Conference with a 14-12-8 mark.

Marsch enters his fourth season with as the franchise’s leader with 48 regular-season wins, surpassing both Hans Backe and Octavio Zambrano last season, who each have 41.

Before joining the Red Bulls, Marsch was the head coach of the Montreal Impact during the club’s inaugural season in 2012. Marsch led the Impact to 12 wins in the club’s first season, the most wins by an expansion club since 1998, when the Chicago Fire, with Marsch and current assistant Chris Armas in the midfield, took the league by storm, winning the 1998 MLS Cup and 1998 U.S. Open Cup.

Marsch also has experience coaching with the US Men’s National Team, serving as Bob Bradley’s assistant for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2011 Gold Cup. The USMNT advanced to the knockout round in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and to the tournament final in the 2011 Gold Cup.

The Racine, Wisconsin native enjoyed an impressive playing career as well, winning three MLS Cups and four US Open Cup Championships during 14 years in the league with D.C. United, Chicago Fire and Chivas USA. Marsch, an MLS original, made 321 appearances in 14 seasons, scoring 31 goals and 40 assists.

He remains among the all-time leaders in Chicago Fire history, sixth all-time in appearances (200), starts (182), and minutes played (16,300). His 19 goals for the Fire are the ninth most in club history, and his 29 assists rank seventh amongst all Chicago players.

During his playing days, Marsch played for four Coaches of the Year in Bruce Arena (1997 D.C. United), Bob Bradley (1998 Chicago Fire), Dave Sarachan (2003 Chicago Fire) and Preki (2007 Chivas USA).

Along with a successful career in MLS, Marsch earned two Caps with the U.S. Men’s National Team. In college, Marsch was a two-year captain at Princeton University, a two-time first team All-Ivy League member and a first team All-American in 1995. Marsch most recently served as a volunteer assistant coach at his alma mater, helping the Tigers to a 2014 Ivy League Championship.
