1. What are the prerequisites to ordering this service?

Any DGCX member or empanelled independent software vendor who is hosting their IT infrastructure within Equinix’s LD4 and LD5 data centres can purchase this service.

2. What are the cross connect fees at Equinix LD4 and LD5?

Members can place a cross connect request directly with Equinix within LD4 or LD5. Please contact Equinix directly for up-to-date pricing.

3. Can I get fibre cross connect?  If so, what are the charges?

Yes. Please contact Equinix directly for up-to-date pricing.

4. Can I place the cross connect order with BSO Network Solutions?

Yes. BSO Network Solutions can organise this on your behalf, with a 12% administration fee.

5. Do I need any special device to terminate this cross connect?

You can terminate the cross connect on any L3 device, such as a router or switch. You may use your existing device for this termination, subject to feasibility.

6. Can I access my colocation server placed in DGCX cage, Dubai?

No. For tailored services, please contact BSO Network Solutions. 7. Can I access other international exchanges from Equinix data centres?

Yes. Please contact BSO Network Solutions or Equinix directly for more information.

8. What are the minimum contract terms of this service? Do we have to pay any penalty if we wish to terminate the service before maturity?   

The contract is 12 months minimum term, with a one-off upfront payment for the full term. Therefore, no fee will apply.

9. Who will be our point of contact for service procurement, implementation and support-related issues?

Service procurement and implementation are with BSO Network Solutions.
