Jen Teubel is the Director of Online Education for HCI College, a position that allows her to do what
she enjoys most--connecting students to resources in the online classroom through tutorial videos.
Education has been the focus of Jen’s career beginning with earning her Bachelor of Science in
mathematics from her alma mater, the University of Illinois. With this degree, she would work as a high
school math teacher and then as the Director of Online Student Services of Daymar College for four
years. Having recently earned her MBA from Western Governors University, Jen is looking forward to
using her years of experience and education helping students gain their confidence as they work
through their own online programs at HCI College. Jen currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her
husband and two dogs.
Say hello to our New RN to BSN Program Director, Dr. Sherry Raber. Dr. Raber has been dedicated to
Nursing and Health Care for over 20 years. Dr. Raber holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in
Executive Nursing Administration, a Master of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State
University, and a Master’s of Management in Healthcare from Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of
Management. Her clinical experience ranges from Pediatric Intensive Care to Geriatric Care and years
working in a Management/Director Position. Dr. Raber has been a lifelong educator and student
advocate, but she has also served on several accreditation committees. Dr. Raber is very passionate
about the Nursing Profession and encourages all RN's to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Nursing which enables the RN to reap more benefits and opportunities from the nursing profession. We
are thrilled to welcome Dr. Raber as our Director of the RN to BSN program here at HCI College. We
know that she will help us do many great things at HCI College. Dr. Raber is eager to help anyone who

“It was a great morning catching up with our colleagues and celebrating our
first responders at the annual Chamber of Commerce Firefighter
breakfast. Congrats to our friends at PBC Fire Rescue Station 57 for receiving
the Fire Station of the Year and for Nursing Alumni, Bianca Clements for
receiving the award for Outstanding Community Service! So proud!
Franz Kuutti, an EMS and Paramedic student who
graduated here from HCI in 2012, was recently
accepted into Columbia University. After graduating
here from HCI, he was in Hawaii for a few years
founding a non-profit, Huna Aloha, that serves local
schools and communities in need. We would like to
congratulate him and his amazing work in the field,
