This meeting is being held in conformity to the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq. Proper public notice of the meeting was published in the local papers on DATE and DATE. If any Board member or member of the public in attendance believes that the meeting is inviolation of the Open Public Meetings Act, the Hoboken Board of Education requests that theymake a statement at this time.

The Board wishes to make those in attendance aware that this meeting is being recorded on videoand will be broadcast by the Board at a later date on CATV Channel 77 and Fios Channel 46. Recommended Action RESOLVED, that the Hoboken Board of Education approves the contract extension (Year Three) for the professionalservices of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C., Morristown, New Jersey, as Special Board Counsel to represent theBoard on all legal and special education matters as requested, and shall render legal services as required, at the rateof $185 per hour for all attorneys and $135 per hour for paralegals for the 2014-2015 school year, not to exceed$150,000. WHEREAS, the Hoboken School District has the need, on a timely basis, to procure goods and services utilizing statecontracts; and

WHEREAS, the Hoboken Board of Education desires to authorize it purchasing agent to make any and all purchasesnecessary to meet the needs of the school district throughout the 2014-2015 school year;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hoboken Board of Education does hereby authorize the districtpurchasing agent to make purchases of goods and services entered into on behalf of the State by the Division ofPurchase and Property utilizing various vendors as listed on the attached sheet.

WHEREAS, the Board, on June 10, 2014 duly adopted resolution to enter into a Cooperative Pricing Agreementthrough Educational Data Services, Inc. with Educational Services Commission of Morris County as Lead Agency; and
