    This meeting is being held in conformity to the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq. Proper public notice of the meeting was published in the local papers on DATE and DATE. If any Board member or member of the public in attendance believes that the meeting is inviolation of the Open Public Meetings Act, the Hoboken Board of Education requests that theymake a statement at this time.

    The Board wishes to make those in attendance aware that this meeting is being recorded on videoand will be broadcast by the Board at a later date on CATV Channel 77 and Fios Channel 46. The Hoboken Board of Education is committed to preserving the decorum of the public processand is mindful that we live in the electronic age of computers, cell phones and other electroniccommunications devices.     Recommended Action WHEREAS, Title 18A:18A-10 provides that, A Board of Education, without advertising for bids, or after havingrejected all bids obtained pursuant to advertising therefore, by resolution may purchase any goods or servicespursuant to a contract or contracts for such goods or services entered into on behalf of the State by the Division ofPurchase and Property; and

    WHEREAS, the Hoboken School District has the need, on a timely basis, to procure goods and services utilizing statecontracts; and

    WHEREAS, the Hoboken Board of Education desires to authorize it purchasing agent to make any and all purchasesnecessary to meet the needs of the school district throughout the 2014-2015 school year;

    NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hoboken Board of Education does hereby authorize the districtpurchasing agent to make purchases of goods and services entered into on behalf of the State by the Division ofPurchase and Property utilizing various vendors as listed on the attached sheet.

    WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-11(5) authorizes contracting units to enter into Cooperative Pricing Agreements; and

    WHEREAS, the Board, on June 10, 2014 duly adopted resolution to enter into a Cooperative Pricing Agreementthrough Educational Data Services, Inc. with Educational Services Commission of Morris County as Lead Agency; and

    WHEREAS, the Hoboken School District has the need, on a timely basis, to procure goods and services utilizingCooperative Pricing Agreements; and

    WHEREAS, the Hoboken Board of Education desire to authorize its purchasing agent to make any and all purchasesnecessary to meet the needs of the school District throughout the 2014-2015 school year.
