• Miley Cyrus nació en Franklin, Tennessee, en 1992. Es hija de Leticia "Tish" Finley y el cantante de música country Billy Ray Cyrus. Tiene dos medio-hermanos, Christopher Cody y Trace, siendo éste último el vocalista y guitarrista de la banda Metro Station y una medio-hermana mayor, Brandi. Tiene un hermano menor, Braison y una hermana menor, Noah, que también es actriz. La llamaron Destiny Hope (Destino, Esperanza) porque sus padres creyeron que llegaría a conseguir grandes éxitos. Se ganó su sobrenombre "Miley" porque sonreía mucho ("Smiley") cuando era pequeña. Cyrus fue a la Heritage Middle School y ahora tiene un tutor privado. Creció en la granja de sus padres a las afueras de Nashville.

• Miley Cyrus y el escándalo de su baile• La que se ha montado en Estados Unidos

con unas imágenes del portal TMZ en las que se ha podido ver a Miley Cyrus celebrando junto a unos amigos el estreno de su nueva película, The Last Song así la joven de 16 años aparecía en estas imágenes bailando en un local a altas horas de la madrugada y eso no es lo peor sino que se puede ver como la cantante y actriz, aparece junto al productor de la película,  Adam Shankman de 44 años con el que baila como si ambos protagonizaran “Diry Dancing”. Evidentemente y aunque Adam Shankman es gay, las imágenes han provocado las críticas de aquellos que consideran que Cyrus no se comporta como una joven adolescente que es lo que es sino que parece la digna sucesora de Lindsay Lohan.
