Bylaws Committee Report

The Bylaws Committee of the ISRT met at 4:30 PM on April 10,

2014. Attending the meeting were Joann Horsfield, Tracy Kimler,

Angie Portugue, Yvonne Grant and Daniel Wolf. At the meeting, the

changes recommended by the ASRT Parliamentarian were reviewed.

It was decided that we would recommend that the ISRT make 14 of

the changes to our bylaws to bring them in compliance with the

ASRT. These changes, additions and deletions were then presented

to the ISRT Board at the board meeting at 6:30 PM on the same date.

The full board agreed to these changes. The list of changes will be

compiled and published in the next issue of the Hawkeye Static for

the membership of the ISRT to review. The members will then vote

on these changes at the Annual Meeting on September 19 and 20,

2014.

Respectfully Submitted

I talked to others who felt the temperature was low. I had to agree. Very well done! Very well organized. Congratulations on a wonderful Spring Symposium! Great speaker line up. I enjoed them all! (They all kept my attention) I really enjoyed the conference location. The meals were wonderful and the staff was very professional and did a great job. Good food this year. Only improvement – offer vegetarian options on food lines without having to request. You ran out of cheesecake ; - ( Bring the bags back Food on Friday – ran out before everyone went through (Note from the planner – we did not run out of food. however, run out of cheese cake but there were other dessert options) The microphones could have been turned up when the speaker stood on the floor. Otherwise very enjoyable and Kirkwood – a great location. Love this facility. Easy to get to, clean, modern and excellent food! Disappointed next year’s symposium is Friday only. It’s hard to get off of work. Please reconsider. Better breakfast It was so nice a couple of years ago or maybe 3-4 years ago. Friday was x-ray and Saturday was Mammography and that was so very nice. Love the fresh fruit for breakfast and snacks. Good location – parking convenient. Something on techniques. How to improve the digital image. We all use it, but not all have been schooled in it.
