ADVISORY / STATUS PROCEDURESThe procedures contained in this section have been developed and recommended by the manufacturer for use in the operationof this airplane. These procedures are for guidance only in identifying the meaning and operating impact of ADVISORY orSTATUS Crew Alerting System (CAS) Messages (MSGs).
NOTEIn these procedures, it is assumed that the positions of the Pilot and Copilot are as follows:
Pilot - occupying the left crew seat.Copilot - occupying the right crew seat.
CREW ALERTING SYSTEM (CAS) MSGSThroughout the procedural sections of the Airplane Flight Manual, CAS MSGs are organized by color as shown below:
COMPUTER RESETCAS MSGs may be reset on the ground by the following procedure:
1. Allow adequate time for the system to complete its power up BIT (Built In Test).2. If CAS MSG(s) remains posted, shutdown the airplane and remove all electrical power.3. Repower the airplane. Refer to SECTION 4 - NORMAL PROCEDURES.4. If CAS MSG(s) recur, refer to the appropriate Crew Action and/or Dispatch column in this Section to determine dispatch
capability.
