Cash, credit card, Eft-pos, Travellers Cheques

are the best methods of taking money over. Some people used the Travelex cash card last time but these did not work in all ATMs. Cash can be locked in the teacher’s safes.

Last time I just used my eft-pos card and withdraw a large chunk of money twice to keep the charges to a minimum. You get charged $5 per time you use your card

Take stuff for breakfast, things like muesli bars

and boxes of cereal are fine to take as long as they are sealed, declare these when you arrive. Some like to take noodles too for extras.

The rooms have fridge, microwave, cooking elements etc so breakfast and lunches/snacks can be made. The students will find the supermarket on the first day so can buy food supplies for the duration
