A Note From the Director

There’s so much to tell you about! In addition to the entertaining and enlightening

convenience of your smartphone or tablet.

Do You Nook?

Interested in learning about the new Nook ereaders? Give one a try! Ask to borrow a

Nook ereader at the reference desk and see what all the hype is about.

Research Much?

Did you know that you can research all kinds of subjects by using

our online databases? Find out about the best cars or

dishwashers using Consumer Reports on the EBSCO Masterfile

Premiere database. Read up on the countries of the world using

CountryWatch. Learn a new language using Mango Language

Learning. Take practice exams for career certification using

LearningExpress Library. Pick up a new hobby or brush up on an

old skill using Universal Class. Click the FIND INFORMATION tab at the top of our

website for the complete list of databases, most of which are available to you from

home 24/7/365.

What’s New at the Library?

Would your group like to come in for a library orientation? Tell us what you want to

know, and we will be glad to schedule and tailor an orientation for your social,

business, or civic group. Have you been wondering what these new e-readers are all

about? We can plan a hands-on workshop to give you an idea. Are you interested in

knowing what is available from home to assist your kids with their assignments? Call us

at 786-3800 ext 33, or email [email protected] to find out more.
