What course should one pursue under thesecircumstances?Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him,

and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, andye shall serve him and cleave unto him. Verse 4.That is, no one should have nothing to do with suchwork; but rather cling to the word of God.

We are directed to the law and unto the testimony,by which to try these spirits that assert to be voicesfrom the dead. After one dies, how much does heknow of what is going on among men?Thou changest his countenance, and sendest him

away. His sons come to honor, and he knoweth it not;and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not ofthem. Job 14:20,21.

Does he know anything, or have any memory?For the living know that they shall die; but the deadknow not anything, neither have they any more areward; for the memory of them is forgotten.Eccl.9:5.

What does the wise man add, that forever precludesthe idea that the dead come back to earth tocommunicate with the living?Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, isnow perished; neither have they any more a portionforever in anything that is done under the sun.verse 6.

What will be the characteristic of last day apostasiesfrom the faith?Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the later

times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed toseducing spirits and doctrines of devils. 1Tim.4;1.

What roll will his agents assume before the end?Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also betransformed as the ministers of righteosness Verse

15. Satans ministers are all the fallen angels whichwere cast out of heaven with him.
