Entry Requirements

• Completion of a minimum of one year at UCSI in a related programme• Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) dependent upon the chosen programme (2.5 - 3.2)• Recognised English language qualification based on university’s criteria or• Minimum of IELTS 6.5 overall (or equivalent), with no less than 6.0 in any individual component.

The next question is - when to go? Each country has its own intake throughout the year:

• United Kingdom – September

• Canada – Jan, May and Sept

Below are the different types of programmes and their rating in

Through this option, the UCSI University internal diploma/ degree

programmes are recognised through ‘advanced standing’ entry by one

or more partner universities, in terms of credit exemptions given for

advancing into their Bachelor degree programmes. Students who have

completed courses with ‘advanced standing’ status can gain admission

into the second or third year of the degree programme overseas. Here,

students can choose to pursue various pathways including a ‘2+1’,

‘1.5+1.5’, ‘2+2’ or a ‘1+2’ degree programme at UCSI University before

going to a partner university overseas to complete the remaining

modules of the course. Upon fulfilling the graduation requirements,

the students would be awarded the partner university’s degree.

Scholarship information:

• Recommended for performing students with at least a GPA of 3.6/4 and above to apply.• Scholarships will only be available for UCSI students who have applied and will be enrolling in Semester 1, 2020 with EAIT.• One-off scholarship only and the amount will be deducted from tuition fees either on 1st semester, 2020 or 2nd semester, 2020.• EAIT will identify top performing students who have applied and seek confirmation with Head of Schools from UCSI.• Selected students will be notified by our scholarship team.• A detailed scholarship letter will be issued to each recipient.

• Fulfill all the conditions to receive the unconditional offer letter.

STEP 4: ACCEPT OFFER

• Sign Offer Response Form.

• Make initial payment to the university to receive confirmation letter.

STEP 5: APPLY VISA

• The university will issue a confirmation of admission. This document is compulsory for your visa application.

• Apply for student visa online / biometrics.

• You are required to go for a medical check-up.

STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMMEUCSI University's Student Exchange Programme offers students a unique

opportunity for cultural immersion, in-depth academic learning, plus

various types of research placements with its partner universities around

the world. Such an approach enhances the student international experiences

and develops cross-cultural competencies while preparing them to be

global citizens.

Spend a semester or two abroad at our partner universities to reap the

benefits. Students will only need to pay tuition fees to UCSI for credit

transferable subjects; tuition fees for non-credit transferable subjects will

be waived.



ABOUT STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

• It is a unique platform to have a once-in-a-lifetime international experience

in the most affordable way. Additionally the academic credits earned at

the host university can be transferred back to meet UCSI’s degree

requirements

• Such an experience allows the students to gain in-depth understanding

and first-hand knowledge of the host university’s learning methodology

and host country’s socio-cultural structure

• Through daily interactions, students learn the host university’s local

language and they stay connected with the local community

• It allows students to work towards their degree pathway while developing

intercultural skills and building international network
