is returning to Hastings to defend the ‘title’ he

won last year. H

e has had many successes in his career including the W

orld Youth C

onship in 2000 and the Com

pionship, held in Glasgow

, in 2014. He has

travelled all over the world pursuing his chess career and is a regular at B

ritish tournaments.

He first w

on at Hastings in 2010/11 w

hen he finished ahead of his good friend IMA

astings this year.

This year’s top seed is M

astings debut. Indeed the Russian
