(a) "Act" means theHaryana Municipal Act, 1973 (24 of 1973);@).'"Animal Welfare Organization"mtansand ncludes the Society forprevention of cru-elty to animalsand any other welfare &tion for animals which is registered un-. der the Sokieties Registration Act, 1860 (21 of 1860). or any other comsponding lawfor the time being in force and w hch is recognized by the Animal Welfare Board of,India, consti tuted under the Prevention of Cruelty to Anim als Act, 1960 (59 of 1960);(c) "Court" mmns the civil Court having jurisdiction ovm the area;(d) "dog" m a m a d og and includes a bitch;

(5) The registration and the metal token shall hold good for a period of twelve months reck-oned from 1st April or from the da te-o f registration of dog to 31st March in each year.(6)A reeister of doe licences shall be km t by the licence clerk of the committee, in which

Dangerousdc@. - (1) On complaint made to the licensing authority that a dogwh ichap pa us to it to be dangerous and not kept under proper control, the licensing authority mayorder the owner of the dog to keep the dog under proper control. The penalty for failing tocomply with such order shallbe Rs. 2001- or Rs. 101-per day whichever is more. Notice ofpenalty shallbe given to the ow ner during the period of non-compliance.
