Dear Parents, 

This is a list of school supplies your child will need for first grade. 

There is no need to label these items. We will label items for you at school. 

Thank you for your cooperation.   

Please bring your child’s supplies to school the night of Open House on 

August 6th. For best prices, we recommend shopping during July or August 

when school supplies are cheapest. We will let you know throughout the year 

when supplies need to be replenished. It is best to stock up now while 

supplies are cheap. Please let us know if you have any questions about the 

supplies. It is going to be a year filled with lots of fun and learning!

● 48 #2 yellow Pencils (Sharpened would be greatly appreciated.)  

● 2 large pink Erasers 

● 2 boxes of Crayons (24 count) 

● 6 Dry Erase Markers ( Black) (Expo brand only) 

● 1 Glue Stick 

● 1 pair of Scissors  

● 3 pocket Folders: green, yellow, and red (plastic folders last longer)  

● 4 Composition Notebooks   

● 2 package 3x3 or 3x5 post its 

● 2 boxes of Kleenex 

● 1 roll of Paper Towels 

● Individual Headphones  

 

***Lunch will be later in the day this year. Please send a healthy filling 

snack (think protein). Some examples: ½ a sandwich, cheese and 

crackers, large bag of fruit or veggies, etc…..   

 

 

At Open House or the first day of school, please notify your child’s teacher, in 

writing, how your child will go home each day. Let us know if your child will 

be picked up at the Parent Pick-Up line, going to Vacation Station, walking 

home, or riding the bus.

Below is the list of school supplies your child will need for 2nd grade. Please purchase and bring them to Open

House or send them on the first day. Some of these items will need to be replenished throughout the school

year, so you may want to stock up now at cheaper back-to-school prices. We look forward to meeting and

working with you in the upcoming school year.

2 packages 24 - #2 sharpened YELLOW ONLY pencils (48 pencils in total). Dixon Ticonderoga brand cost a little more, but sharpen best and last longer.

1 pair of scissors (Fiskars cut the best)

2 boxes of crayons (24 count)

Colored pencils

1 box of Crayola markers

1 package of colored pens

2-4 large glue sticks

1 bottle of Elmer’s glue

2 large pink or white erasers

2 wide tipped highlighters

2 wide-tipped BLACK Expo brand markers (other brands do not

erase well)

1 box of ziplock bags (boys-quart size, girls-gallon size)

1 set of headphones (no earbuds please)
