The Board met August 30, 2010, pursuant to recess taken August 18, 2010, in the
meeting room for the Board of Supervisors in the First Judicial District Courthouse in
Gulfport, Mississippi. All Supervisors were present.

1 Paige Roberts and Megan Burkes with the American Red Cross appeared
before the Board to request funding of their organization during FY 2011.
After full discussion, the Board adopted an ORDER taking under advisement
the request of the American Red Cross for funding of their organization in the
amount of $40,000.00 for FY 2011.
A motion was made by Supervisor Savant, seconded by Supervisor Martin, that

18 The Board Attorney reported that the Hancock County VFD insurance
company is settling the claim of Mr. Bertucci and that he has forwarded a
