Refusing to be placed in a box, Harold Green began perfecting his gift into a unique craft early in life and quickly mastered the art of putting words together, then brilliantly deliver-ing them in front of audiences with the most vivid, yet memorable performances. Green’s ability to speak cogently and in great detail without notes further defines him as a uniquely chosen vessel - one totally engulfed in his lyrics and transforms them into impassionate masterpieces!

Green is part of a poetry ensemble by the name of Verbal Balance, who performes all across the city of Chicago, including one special appearance at the ‘Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration’hosted by the DuSable Museum. This ensemble Verbal Balance has been featured in many publications (including the Chicago Defender), seen on WTTW Chicago, and received The Truth Award. Green has performed at universities across the nation including Grambling State University, Quincy University, Howard University, Iowa University and University of Illinois at Chicago. He has opened for renowned entertainers such as Bobby Valentino and T.I.. Green recently joined the cast of the Chicago based play entitled “Crossed” a 2010 version of School Days where he left audiences amazed by his performance. Green‘s Most Recent joint –venture, HNIC – Harold N’ the Incredible Charisma is a cross genre ensemble with frequent collaborator Charisma Sweat which fuses together both of their artistic visions.

In 2011 "The Renaissance Man" continues to add to his already impressive resume by landing the job as host of Chicago's THE SHRINE nightclub "All Natural"–Monthly Talent Showcase. In addition to that Green delivers life changing excerpts on Thurs-day mornings through "Positive Interruptions" with Harold Green on 107.5 WGCI-Chicago's #1 Radio Station! Of all the hats Mr. Green wears, his most inspiring work includes; assisting special needs children at Robert A. Black, a south-side magnet school as well as teaching a creative writing course at Governors State University.
