55 Harley street is a terraced seven storey edwardian
building constructed around 1910. the property consists
of load bearing masonry brickwork walls with timber floor
joists and floor boarding.
the building is provided with a new 5 person lift which
incorporates new supporting steelwork within the floors.
the front facade comprises ornate stone facade which has
been cleaned, repaired and restored.

existing mansard construction covered in salvaged
natural slates to pitched elevations. new insulated
asphalt roof coverings have been provided to all flat roofs
and constructed in accordance with current building
regulations. A paved terrace is provided at 1st floor level
on top of an insulated asphalt roof. parapets have been
upgraded with either new lead cappings or new York
stone copings.

damp-proofing undertaken throughout the basement
areas. insulated metal stud linings with double layer
of board to provide a minimum of 53db acoustic
attenuation. generally painted plaster finished with
painted and french polished skirting.

new replacement four panel longden timber half hour
fire doors. those doors incorporating vision panels are
provided with safety glazing to bs 6206. glazing to fire
doors are in 6.5mm pyran, clear, fire rated to 30 mins in
integrity and insulation.
All architraves, linings, stops etc are solid and match the
existing profiles.

walls provided with low iron glass back-painted to match

rated wall mounted mccb panel with 200A rated bus-bar and
integral 200A rated isolator as main switch. distribution boards

feature led lighting is provided within the main entrance
corridor and first floor panelled consulting room.

building regulations and provides the required lux levels for
the intended use. emergency lighting is provided in accordance

each outlet position back to various equipment rack positions.

recovery systems are provided throughout the building with
individual controllers in each room. extract vents are provided
in examination rooms, toilets and teapoints.

Video and audio entry-phone run through the cat 5e, complete
with multi digit push button door entry facility with intercom,
access control by proximity reads, wireless intruder alarm and fire
alarm compliant with bs 5389 part 1 are all provided.

shower and toilet facility provided on the lower ground floor
comprising stone floor and tiling to shower area, toughened low
iron shower screen and door, handheld shower piece, shower
controls, duravit starck 3 wall mounted Wc pan with concealed
cistern, duravit Happy d Washbasin with electronic basin mixer
with temperature control.

A unisex toilet is provided at each level apart from the fourth floor
where a tea point is located. A disabled toilet is provided on the
ground floor. fittings generally comprise a duravit starck 3 wall
mounted Wc pan with concealed cistern, Axor stark electronic
basin mixer with temperature control, over duravit stark 3 Happy
d washbasin with oak vanity unit below, hand dryer and toilet roll
holder. A hinged grab rail is included in the disabled toilet.
