The Miro® Series of door and window
hardware is a blend of contemporary
design and function.
It offers a unified look from window to door, including internal timber doors. The smooth, ergonomic Miro® shapes offer good aesthetics as well as comfortable grip. Secure and convenient locking features have been included.
Miro® hardware items are made from die-cast zinc and are usually powder coated. Plating in a matte silver or gold is also available.
HARDWARE
MIRO®
Miro® Window FastenerWith separately applied wedge is suitable for a range of high specification window systems – including the Architectural Series. Design requirements mean that standard residential windows must use the Miro wedgeless fastener. The handle is 100mm long and the base plate is 53mm wide.
Miro® Bi-Fold OperatorThis swivel lock activates locking rods in the top and bottom of the door or window panel. A key-locking version is also available.
Miro® Small / Large Sliding Door HandleThe Miro® sliding door ‘D’ handle comes in two sizes. The smaller handle suits standard residential applications. This large handle is more suited to the greater scale of the FIRST® APL Architectural Series and FIRST® Metro Series. The lock is separate from the handle and is operated by key or snib. A surface-mounted Miro® sliding door lock is also available where the handle and lock are combined and fitted to the face of the door stile.
Miro® Wedgeless Window FastenerThe Miro® wedgeless window fastener combines a sure hand grip with clean lines. The nylon closing wedge is matched to the handle colour. This handle is suitable for residential window suites. A low profile option is available. A venting option of the wedgeless handle is also available which allows the window to be fastened in a partially open position for passive ventilation.
Miro® Lever HandleWith a sleek, comfortable grip common to all Miro® hardware, the lever door lock is available in several locking options, including keyed both sides or with interior snib. An upward handle movement activates four-point locking.
Miro® Interior HandleMiro® handles for interior timber doors provide continuity - allowing a seamless transition from exterior to interior joinery. A privacy handle is available with snib to provide latching.
