Time #ttendance system is diided into t!o parts: Terminal and Time #ttendance management soft!are$

Terminal is primarily responsible for day-to-day attendance& registration& unloc)ing the door$ Nou can

communicate terminal !ith management soft!are after insert net!or) cable to the terminal$

'atabase management soft!are can transfer staff archies and other information from computer to terminal by

TC?7@?& and upload attendance logs from terminal to management soft!are for analyBing staff stat report according to

the admin setting$ The management soft!are supports (+,,, and #ccess 'atabase

1.3 Terminal 'aintenance

impurities is filtered by customiBed filter& formed the high quality picture on the light-sensitie chip& then diied by

algorithm bac)ground& find out the single face picture& after professional algorithm& ma)e the face picture featureJ eye& mouth& outlineK digital& it is about 1,,, features& )eep them into the database& binding !ith the users @'&

this is the process of dealing !ith one photo$

One person model default is 1,& meaning repeat 1, times$

The purpose of register is to establish @' number for user& and scan the users face to create characteristic code$

This code as a module is saed in terminal memory chips$ One user can store 1, modules$

Comparing storage module !ith present scanned face& this face module is used to erify users identification$

0hen the user moes at front of the terminal& or input @' number later& then input the pass!ord or face erify&

this !or)ing process is called erification& the system gies out the failure or success information after erifying&

and store the successful records to the terminal$

number is used for related face characteristic module or pass!ord$

The terminal is a )ind of storage equipment !hich record digital information by receiing terminal and outer equipment

There has certain frequency induction coils in internal cards and C6O chip& each card corresponds to unique one @'

number& you also can setup staff archies in the management soft!are$

0hen cardholders !ipe their cards on card-reader areas& then the terminal !ill store the cardholder personal

information$ #t this time the admin can transfer this cardholder information that stored in the machine to computer by

correct communication procotol& then use management soft!are to upload records& and see the details attendance



records in the stat attendance report$ $ These records can print out by ECE( format form$ ?lease note if the

cardholder didnt register card in the terminal in adance& it is inalid to !ipe card in the terminal$
