SEEkER’s PRO TIPS - HARASSER MASTERY Introduction The harasser is the fastest and most mobile ground vehicle on Auraxis. Its speed and mobility must be utilized to get in and out of the combat area faster than the enemy can react. The harasser can adapt to multiple style of combat. The key is knowing what terrain is available and what kind of threat your forces face in that area. Situation awareness is the most important skill an harasser driver can develop. Knowing when to enter and exit an area is the only way to keep this vehicle rolling. The harasser is very similar to the liberator in terms of communication and situation awareness. Communication Communication between the driver and gunner is important and a clear communication channel is a must. Whispers must be set for each harasser crew and a minimum of channel chatter and commands must be maintained. Same goes for channel commander. Having a lot of chatter will break the concentration of both the pilot and gunner and will result in a quick destruction of the harasser. The harasser is easily the most intense vehicle to man in combat. Half a second of delay, or a missed shot from the gunner can mean death at any moment. Try to get some relaxed time between the runs, or you will find yourself yelling loudly, waking the family and neighbors. Mass Confusion Being lightly armoured, the harasser must utilize its speed and manoeuvrability to strike and confuse the enemy. Varying your speed is what will cause the enemy to miss their rocket and tank shots aimed at you. The Turbo is the best tool for varying your speed. Slowing, stopping, afterburning, top speed, tight turns, rolling backward are all valid tactics. Find areas where infantry cannot access easily and where armours simply cannot follow like top of steep hills, walls and such. Position yourself to rain down on them and to retreat when in trouble. Always have a retreat route in mind, for when things will go wrong. Be unexpected and be ready to bail out of an hairy situation. Situation Awareness Knowing the lay of the land and what enemy presence is in your target area is what will tell you what kind of loadout your harasser needs. A good tactic is to start by flying to your target area, either in a liberator or mosquito. This should give you a good idea of what to expect and how to react to it. Knowing that information will then dictate what gun is needed on your buggy. A tight terrain like canyons will dictate a long range engagement. A vehicle heavy presence will dictate an anti-armour loadout. An infantry and sunderer presence will dictate an anti-infantry loadout. Always run from your counter. Meaning if you sport an anti-infantry loadout and amours start rolling in your area, get out of there as fast as possible. The main threats to harassers are rapid shooting anti-vehicular weapons. Enforcers, Saurons, Lancer Nest and Comet Maxs are the bane of the harasser. RUN from them as soon as they are spotted. Combat Engineering and Repairs The harasser is the only vehicle which can be repaired while moving. This is of an utmost importance. The gunner should, in most case, be an engineer and hop on the rumble seat to repair when needed. In most situation, at half health, the engineer should start the repairs. To be able to start repairing, the harasser must be at low speed, or moving backward. Once the repairs are started, the driver can then accelerate as fast as he wants, the engineer should then be able to keep repairing at fastest speed. In some case, the driver can hop out and repair while his gunner suppress the infantry around the harasser. This situation usually is when you control one side of the combat. Meaning the enemies are only coming from one side, at which time the driver can repair on the opposite side, giving more time to his gunner to deter all infantry in the area.

SEEkER’s PRO TIPS - HARASSER MASTERY

IntroductionThe harasser is the fastest and most mobile ground vehicle on Auraxis.

CommunicationCommunication between the driver and gunner is important and a clear communication channel

is a must.

Mass ConfusionBeing lightly armoured, the harasser must utilize its speed and manoeuvrability to strike and confuse the enemy.

Situation AwarenessKnowing the lay of the land and what enemy presence is in your target area is what will tell you what kind of loadout your harasser needs. A good tactic is to start by flying to your target area, either in a liberator or mosquito. This should give you a good idea of what to expect and how to react to it. Knowing that information will then dictate what gun is needed on your buggy. A tight terrain like canyons will dictate a long range engagement.

Combat Engineering and RepairsThe harasser is the only vehicle which can be repaired while moving. This is of an utmost importance. The gunner should, in most case, be an engineer and hop on the rumble seat to repair when needed. In most situation, at half health, the engineer should start the repairs. HARASSER LOADOUTS

Mines Go BoomWhen using an anti-infantry loadout, mines are the best tool to get rid of parked sunderers. Good communication between the driver and gunner will allow you to quickly move beside a sunderer, have your gunner drop 2 mines, move away, and shoot the mines, resulting in a nice explosion. This communication can be something like: Go Tail, Ready Mines, Look Left, Drop Drop, Hop in Gun, Shoot, BOOM!! Also, be wary of enemy mines. The harasser is so fast that it can be really easy to roll on enemy mines. Always be on the lookout for those.

Engineer, Medic and Max ComboThe use of a Max Unit in the rumble seat can greatly augment the firepower of the harasser. In most case, a Dual Fracture Max Unit is best suited for most runs. A Dual Burster can also be utilized in some situations. To support this Max Unit, which will get shot quite a lot on the back seat, a medic with the Triage certification (highest level possible) is needed. This medic will also be responsible to resurrect the Max

Unit in case he goes down. By rolling backward with the harasser, the Max Unit should be able to have a good angle of sight while giving the driver a good escape route when that enemy tank shoot back in response. Remember that using the Max in the rumble seat removes the ability to repair on the move. You will have to stop and repair the old fashioned way.

Stealth and Fire DisciplineBe as sneaky as possible and never engage targets that cannot be taken down. Do not shoot armours with anti-infantry guns, unless already on fire. With anti-vehicular weapons, engage enemy armours by the back and hold your fire until a sure kill is obtainable. Do not shoot the armours when your driver is circling to get at the back of the tank. Retreat as soon as the armours has you zeroed in.

Tank and AV Nest TrapWhen getting pursued by enemy armours, always try to fall back to where our tanks and anti-vehicular infantry are positioned. They will provide a good diversion and deterrence to those pursuers. When the enemy realize their mistakes and try to fall back, follow them and finish them before they can get back to their lines. Sometimes you can even shoot the engineer while he is repairing his tank.
