Viking Medal Night Well done to the Under 18’s, C, B and A grade who all had fantastic seasons and played in finals. The B grade made it to

the Semi Finals, the Under 18’s and A grade to the Preliminary Finals and the C grade to a Grand Final. Congratulations to Mick Ruddock, Narnas, Chopper and Matthew Dent on a job well done. Hope to see you all out next year better than ever!!!

Sponsorship Wrap Up The Happy Valley Football Club would like to thank our amazing sponsors for their support in 2013. Our season in totality is

bitter sweet with all of our teams finishing in the top three at the end of the minor round. This resulted in our club being awarded the Champion Club of the SFL for 2013. This is a huge honour. We had the A grade Mail Medalist in Jon Eagleton,

who once again had a stellar season. Many players throughout the grades made the teams of the year in their respective

grades and several players were also picked in the Association teams. The club had seven Under 18 boys play for SANFL

clubs this season, with Ryan Simister picked in the State Under 18 Squad for 2013. In total there were 24 HVFC Junior players either playing for SANFL clubs or in SANFL development squads. However, the disappointing aspect to the season was that we converted our sensational minor round form to a premiership

in only one grade, the Under 14 team. The Under 16 and C grade played off in the Grand Finals but were runners up and the other sides bowed out in either the semi or preliminary finals.

It is a tribute to the strong leadership at the club that we find ourselves in such a strong position in 2013. The committee

work hand in hand with the football department and not against it. That is the secret to our success.

The support of our sponsors in 2013 has enabled us to provide our players and members with the best facilities and

equipment in the SFL. Next season exciting developments will include a new coaches box which is being supported by the local council and much more.

I would like to take this opportunity to once again call for the continued support of our sponsors in 2014 as we again strive to develop our young men to play our great game to the best of their abilities. I trust from the feedback I have had from

sponsors that our membership, where possible, is supporting your businesses and we will work hard to cement those

relationships in 2014. If you would like to contact me to discuss your sponsorship or have any suggestions please call Steve

Davenport at any time on 0434685119.

On the following page is a list of our Club sponsors for 2013. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the following player sponsors for season 2013 –

Admark Carpentry, Amalfi Pizzeria Ristorante, Austbrokers Insurance, Brown Financial Services, Chicken Hub, Davey Water Products, Dean Sanderson, Entire Plumbing, Hub Tavern, Joe Maiorana 4 Real Estate, M&M Mechanical Air Conditioning,
