Happy Birthday Herzlichen Gluckwunsch

75th Birthday of Dr. Rudolf Kaiser

On February 12, 2005, Dr. Rudolf Kaiser, the founder of Chromatographia

is celebrating his 75th birthday. Rudolf Kaiser is one of the pioneers in

chromatography, who became active in this field in 1953. He has been an

active, enthusiastic, inspiring, creative and original promoter of the devel-

opment and applicability of chromatography in analytical chemistry for

more than 50 years. He has a natural talent for finding fast and

simple solutions for many problems encountered in the analysis of complex

mixtures.

Rudolf Kaiser is an extraordinary person whose contributions to chro-

matography – also his books, his symposia, his journals – are well known
