Our Grade 1 listed neoclassical hall sits within the heart of Liverpool in more ways than one; it is a place of congregation and celebration, offering a true sense of the city amidst incomparable surroundings. It is the place where people come together to mark significant moments in time.

St George’s Hall is proud to host all types of wedding celebrations from traditional white weddings, multi-cultural weddings, same-sex ceremonies and the renewal of vows. We have been privileged enough to play witness to some of the most spectacular and memorable events in history, and your big day will be no exception.

GREAT HALLWith its impressive chandeliers, stained glass windows and spectacular barrel vaulted ceiling, there are few venues in the city so rich in history & grandeur.

The Great Hall simply oozes magnificence and provides a lavish interior and a setting like no other for wedding ceremonies and wedding breakfasts, with the option to enjoy an al fresco drinks reception amidst the impressive Corinthian columns - the perfect space for your wedding photographs.

The CONCERT ROOM

Breathtakingly beautiful, decorated in gentle tones of cream, white, honey and gold, the circular Concert Room, a romantic setting for your wedding day. An opulent crystal chandelier, walls lined with Goddess-like statues and angelic cherubs greets you and your guests whilst Ravenhead glass mirrors create stunning reflections around the featured stage, a perfect space for a string-quartet or pianist to enchant your guests.

Our dedicated team of experienced professionals strive for perfection, catering to your bespoke needs to ensure that the most important day of your life is a dream come true.

With a wealth of expertise, our team are on hand to provide you and your guests with a joyous, everlasting memory – a beginning to “happily ever after” which you will never forget.

We only work with the most experienced and reputable caterers, venue dressers, photographers and wedding service providers, whose talent and creativity will ensure that all your needs are exceeded.

Whilst St George’s Hall doesn’t have a specific ‘Recommended Supplier List,’ we do have a list of suppliers who have worked successfully with us on many weddings, with consistently great feedback from previous clients.

Our SUPPLIERS

We have an extensive choice of stylish and glamorous room options, whether it be for a Civil Ceremony or a full wedding reception.

Our in-house catering team can provide a drinks and canapés reception for your guests, either before or after your ceremony, within the imposing North Hall or beneath the iconic Corinthian colonnades on our outdoor terrace.

Civil Ceremonies & Post-Ceremony DRINKS RECEPTIONS

Due to its priceless heritage, the Minton floor is only revealed for a limited time each year, providing a unique setting that your special day deserves. Built as an expression of Liverpool’s civic pride during the Victorian era, the Minton floor consists of 30,000 vibrant tiles, displaying images of Liverpool’s maritime heritage that will dazzle both you and your wedding guests. The Minton Experience provides magical memories, amidst incomparable surroundings.
