Excavation will now continue to remove clay between bearing piles so they can be cut, and the temporary slab within the North West shaft will be removed. These works are expected to be completed by the first week of November. Slab construction at level -5 is expected to begin in early October and the lining of walls at level -4, which is currently underway, will be complete in early October.

Platform Tunnels Civil works to construct the track bed and platform is now largely complete and the focus in this area has moved towards Platform Edge Screen (PES) installation. Works to install head brackets and side brackets are underway and grouting of the head brackets commences End September.
