Auch in Produktionsprozessen werden selbstlernende und intelligente Systeme vermehrt zum Einsatz kom-men. Maschinen werden selbst melden, wenn sie nicht richtig justiert sind; Produktionseinheiten er-kennen selbständig Strukturen in Datenströmen, lernen daraus und programmieren sich eigenständig um. Fabriken der Zukunft werden sich von alleine an geänderte Anforderungen anpassen können.Über Einsatzmöglichkeiten für KI-Technologien in industriellen Prozessen diskutieren Expertinnen und Experten aus Industrie, Wissenschaft und Politik auf dem 13. Deutsch-Japanischen Wirtschaftsforum. Self-learning and intelligent systems will be increasingly employed in production process-es. Machines will autonomously report incorrect settings, while production units will recognize data stream structures, learn from them and independently reprogram themselves. The factories of the future will be able to adapt to changing requirements on their own.At the 13th German-Japanese Business Forum, experts from industry, science and government will discuss potential AI applications for industrial processes.For the first time, the forum will also feature a startup event, at which German and Japanese startups will present their innovations in short pitches.To kick things off, Deutsche Messe will offer interested participants a tour of interesting innovations in connection with the “AI in production” focus.

Acht Unternehmen zeigen als echte Technologie-Pioniere ihre ersten konkreten Anwendungen in einem echten, funktionsfähigen 5G-Netz, das eigens für die HANNOVER MESSE in der Halle installiert wurde.Everyone is talking about 5G and is thinking about smartphones, but the new super-fast mobile standard will only fully show its strengths when used in an industrial environment. While the first 5G smartphones were presented a few weeks ago, researchers and engineers are working out hard on possible applications in industry. And there are many conceivable areas of application, because 5G with real-time data transmission, high security and low energy consumption makes the Internet of Things (IoT) finally mobile. The “5G Arena” at HANNOVER MESSE now kicks off the use of 5G in the industry. It is now both foreseeable and essential that the focus shifts increasingly onto the workers as digital transformation progresses.
