A stunning Base campHannahs at Seale-Hayne is set within 90 acres of spectacular Devon countryside, with plenty to entertain all ages. Within our Edwardian quadrangle you will find the popular Bistro and Supper Rooms offering delicious coffee and tasty food from homemade cakes to open sandwiches and sharing platters. You will also discover our acclaimed art galleries, resident artist studios and unique gifts in our shops. Explore beyond the quad and you will find our farm, archery field, laser combat course, music studios, forge and wonderful horticulture project with spectacular views down through the Teign Valley. You will also stumble upon our state-of-the-art Health and Wellbeing Centre with a wonderful hydrotherapy pool, sauna and beauty treatment and therapy rooms.

STAY AND PLAYHannahs Adventure Hostel is perfectly situated in the stunning grounds at Hannahs at Seale-Hayne, between Newton Abbot and Ashburton and at the gateway to Dartmoor National Park. With spectacular views across the rolling Devon countryside, the hostel offers simple accommodation, with shared bathroom and catering facilities. The hostel makes a perfect base for a wide range of tourism and adventure activities, including walking, cycling, canoeing, rock climbing, wild swimming and horse riding (see inside).

Dartmouth can be reached by boat from Totnes and Torbay, or by steam train from Paignton and is a fascinating port and home to the Dartmouth Royal Naval College.

The highest town on Dartmoor is the atmospheric home of Dartmoor prison and was where Conan Doyle wrote The Hound of the Baskervilles. The drive up is spectacular.

Totnes11.2 miles

This bohemian town on the banks of the River Dart is a thriving centre for art, music, theatre and natural health and is packed with quirky shops and lively bars and bistros.

Boasting 22 miles of stunning coastline, and 18 beaches the English Riviera is also home to Kents Cavern, Paignton Zoo, Babbacome Model Village and numerous boat trips.

Getting hereYou can find Hannahs at Seale-Hayne just off the A383 between Newton Abbot and Ashburton. Look for the lay-by about half way along the road and turn opposite.
