***Reminder***
Our 50th Anniversary is fast approaching. If you have not
already done so, book a table at the front office for the dinner dance being held on Saturday 27th August. You will be en-tertained by the great band “Careless” and be delighted with an amazing buffet of
food. Enjoy a great night out with your friends and for our past students, a night to catch
up and reminisce about the good old days.
Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you to all who were able to attend the year 5/6 hosted Mass on Wednesday, it was a lovely cele-bration, where we came to show compassion and love to all.
Next week we celebrate Catholic Education Week with this year’s theme being “Opening Doors in the Year of Mercy.” Catholic Education Week is a time to celebrate and highlight the distinctive mission and ethos of Catholic education in Queensland. It’s aim is to provide the opportunity for all agencies working in Catholic education to celebrate the great things they are doing with their school, parish and wider com-munities.
We would like to celebrate this year’s CEW with our wider school community with a whole school Mass on Wednesday 27th July. Followed back at the school grounds for a cutting of cake, planting of a tree in conjunction with Schools Tree Day and our students taking you through their classrooms and presenting the wonderful works they are achieving. The “doors are open” so all are very welcome to at-tend.
Remember tomorrow is the Cairns Show holiday, so have a fantastic and safe long weekend.
May God’s Spirit be with you always

Pray—Relationships thrive on good communica-tion. To grow in love and friendship we need to communicate honestly and often. When we pray, we express our desire to grow in closer to God. When we pray, we become closer to Jesus who gives us the graces to be good, holy people.
