Postgraduate Programmes at UM
Mode of StudyCoursework Candidates are required to acquire a specified number of coursework
credits. Certain coursework programmes may require the submission of a research report.
Clinical Candidates are required to complete coursework credits and be involved in clinical work.
Mixed-mode Candidates are required to complete coursework credits and to submit a dissertation.
Research Research is the principal requirement and candidates will produce a dissertation or thesis. Candidates may be required to attend some pre-requisite courses as prescribed by the University.

WRITING A RESEARCH INTENT:Applicants for higher degree programmes by research are required to submit a brief statement of the research programme which they propose to carry out.
The proposal should comprise the following elements: -
