Industrial hand cleaner

Protecta Pink is a heavy duty, waterless hand cleaner formulated to remove grease, oil, metal dust, carbon black, coal dust and most industrial soils. For heavy industrial and mechanical applications where a hand cleaner must perform well, Protecta Pink, the original pink hand cleaner is the product to use. (Pumps sold separately, see page 10)

It is ideally suited for the cleaning of hardworking hands in mechanical and industrial workshops and mines, on building sites, farms, fishing trawlers and oil rigs. Citrus hand cleaner Orange Scrub is a heavy duty, waterless hand cleaner containing high quality citrus oils and fast working pumice abrasive and possessing a pleasant orange fragrance. Eliminator is a heavy duty waterless hand cleaner designed specifically to remove paints, adhesives and other resin based products which standard industrial strength hand cleaners are unable to remove. Solvent resistant/dry soils barrier cream

Protecta Guard is a non-greasy, non-irritant barrier cream designed to protect the skin from dry powders and dusts, oils, greases and solvents. Protecta Guard is insoluble in most petroleum-derived solvents and thus gives a high degree of protection against most products containing these solvents such as paints, bitumen, greases, adhesives, oils and petrol. The regular use of Protecta Guard will provide enhanced protection against industrial dermatitis. 500ml Wall Bracket sold separately, see page 10

Water repellent barrier cream Protecta Plus is a non-greasy, non-irritant barrier cream designed to protect the skin from water, moisture and from water-borne irritants. These irritants include acids, alkalis, electrolyte solutions and wet soils. Protecta Plus is highly water repellent, even after long periods of contact with water. This novel formulation is similar to those used for water-resistant sunscreens, but provides greatly enhanced water resistance. Protecta Plus provides natural moisturising and super-fatting to the skin. The regular use of Protecta Plus will provide enhanced protection against industrial dermatitis. 500mL Wall Bracket sold separately, see page 10

After work skin repair moisturising cream

Protecta Care helps to soften rough, scaly and thickened skin and helps prevent chafed, chapped, cracked and wind burnt skin. It provides temporary protection to minor cuts, scrapes and burns. Protecta Care may be used for treatment of sunburnt skin and as a general purpose soothing and moisturising cream. The regular use of Protecta Care will moisturise the skin to help prevent industrial dermatitis. 500mL Wall Bracket sold separately, see page 10

What is dermatitis?

A skin disease caused by substances and processes used in the workplace is commonly known as dermatitis and most often involves inflammation of the skin. The skin becomes red at the site of contact (usually the hands) and blisters, swelling and itching may develop. Over time, the skin becomes thick, rough and cracked.

The regular use of Protecta barrier creams and skin repair cream provides enhanced protection and will moisturise the skin to help prevent industrial dermatitis.

Shower Gel spreads easily and produces a dense foaming lather which removes most dirt and soiling from the skin. SPF30+ Sunscreen Spray On Sunscreen SPF30+ provides very high protection against harmful UV-A and UV-B rays. It is a 2 hour water resistant SPF30+ milk wih added Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to help moisturise skin.

SPF30+ Sunscreen/Insect repellent Protecta Bodyguard SPF30+ with insect repellant provides very high protection against harmful UV-A and UV-B rays and is formulated for use on sun sensitive skin. Protecta Bodyguard retains its protection for up to 2 hours of water emersion. Protecta Bodyguard SPF30+ does not contain PABA or Oxybenzone.
