Recapture & Hold Lightly28th Sept-4th Oct, 9am-1pm, Free (Private View

Wednesday 30 September 4-6pm)

Mixed media exhibition including ceramics, 3D, photography and painting by Sue Hazel-wood and Chris Chapman. The work is based on a walk along public footpaths on the Somerset levels. Due to life changing events, the walks became a conduit for memories of growing up in the countryside; a space to talk and remember. The changing seasons, textures and colours, sparked ideas for art work. Found materials, organic and man-made are a feature in some of the pieces.

Improv Level 114th Sept-19th Oct (Mondays), 7-10pm, £95

Forget TV talk-shows, class clowns and stand-up sweats – you don’t have to be funny to have fun learning improv. Gain confidence, tap into your creativity and make new friends. Improvisation is un-scripted performance of any kind, without pre-planning. Improv Level 1 is a gentle but exciting introduction to the growing art of improvisation. A 6-week intensive beginning with the fundamental principals: accept-ance, trust and fear. Re-discover how to play again! Many people fear being silly in front of others but throughout the course you’ll learn how to let go and not worry about being right, correct or even good! Improv Level 1 is designed to help participants free themselves from self-consciousness, fear and self-doubt. Confront your attitudes to failure and live in the moment! Be more spontaneous, get more creative! The performance skills taught in this class will be of benefit to performers of all kinds or anyone looking to rediscover a sense of freedom, joy and delight in their lives. Each three hour class is packed full of fun activities and games.

Morning ChorusDate TBC, £7/£5 Drop in, £35/£25 per half term
