Performance of HPPs

Tensile strength of HPPs at elevated temperatures is the key material selection factor to be considered for hightemperature load bearing applications.

In addition to high HDT values, the HPP material should possess a low level of water absorption with suffi cient dimensional stability to be used for harsh, hot and humid applications.

Long-term service temperature and tensile strength distinguish TPI, PEEK and PEI from other engineering plastics.

BIEGLO focuses on high-temperature applications.PEEK is the standard HPP. Thermosetting Polyimide (PI-s) is the top-performer when it comes to heat defl ection temperature (HDT). With PAI, TPI and PEI, BIEGLO is fi lling the gap between PEEK and PI-s.
