Halls Comparison 2011

During February and March 2011 the Students’ Union conducted a series of surveys within halls accommodation available to students at the University of Wolverhampton. The purpose was to give prospective students a more objective view of accommodation available and of what is currently considered to be “All Inclusive” Halls provision in the area, provided by both the University and independent private halls providers. The results have been collated into an easy to read table, picking out what we feel to be the type of information a student looking at shared accommodation in the area may want to know, at a glance. For the purposes of this survey we have considered an “All Inclusive” rent to include: RENT

ELECTRICITY

HEATING AND WATER

INTERNET SERVICES

LAUNDRY FACILITIES

CAR PARKING

RECYCLING FACILITIES

BASIC CONTENTS INSURANCE

All information has come from the viewpoints of current student tenants in each of the halls accommodation and as such, is not necessarily the view of the Students’ Union or its employees.
