Enjoy creative playtime with our Bat, Ghost and Pumpkin puppets. These easy to

crochet toys will spark the imagination of your favorite child (and will be enjoyed a lot

longer than candy).

Round 16: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 11 sc) around: 26 sc.Round 17: Sc in each sc around.Round 18: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 12 sc) around: 28 sc.Round 19: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc) around: 32 sc.Round 20: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc) around: 36 scRound 21: Sc in next 7 sc, ch 5, skip next 5 sc (wing opening), sc in next 12 sc, ch 5, skip next 5 sc, sc in each sc around.Round 22: Sc in each sc and ch around: 36 sc.Rounds 23-40: Sc in each sc around.Round 41: Sc in each sc around, join with slip st to first sc; fasten off.

Finished Size: 6½” (16.5 cm) circumference

Susan Bates® Crochet Hook: 4 mm [US G-6]

Stitch marker, yarn needle

GAUGE: 22 sc = 4” (10 cm); 26 rows = 4” (10 cm). CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

NotesPuppet is worked in continuous rounds without joining, with the right side facing throughout. Place stitch marker to indicate beginning of round and move as rounds are worked.

Special StitchSc2tog = (insert hook in next st, Yo and pull up a loop) twice, Yo and pull through 3 loops on hook. (1 stitch decrease).
