TRANSCRIPT
HALLOWEEN PARTYSAC will be holding a Halloween costume party and dance on
Saturday, October 26th from 7:00-9:30.
Costumes are not necessary, of course, but will add to the fun. Prizes for the scariest and funniest costumes will be awarded per everyone’s vote. The DJ also teaches line dancing and will
show us a few steps to add to our line dancing repertoire.
Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased from Gail Pellitteri starting October 1st or at the door on the 26th. This is a BYOB and table snacks to share party.
Everyone who attended last year had a blast; it was, and I quote, “best Halloween party at Sandalwood ever”.
So, dress up (or not) and come enjoy the festivities.
Please sign up on the bulletin board so that we have a head count.

PARK SALEAlthough the season is ending, your SAC board is al-ready planning next year’s park rummage sale. We have decided to not have the carport sales next year. Please bring your items to the clubhouse a few days prior to the sale. The money we make goes to our many activities that are run for your enjoyment.
Please note that we will no longer be taking clothing donations. Also, on the Do Not Donate list is Holiday decorations, TV’s and microwaves. We will be accept-ing items in good condition during the summer. Please contact Gail Pellitteri at 941/882-4065 if you want your item(s) to be put in the shed.
CARDED?Just a reminder to all shareholders, if your guests are staying in your property without you being there, one person must be at least 55 years of age.
FOR YOUR SAFETYWhile our regulations require bicycles ridden after dark to have a white light in the front and a red light in the rear (12.6), common sense would dictate you should not be walking after dark without a flashlight. We have had a couple of close calls this summer with both unlighted bicycles and pedestrians and we only have a fraction of the number of residents in the park that we will have during the winter season. It is great to be able to get out and ride or walk after the sun goes down along with the temperature. But, PLEASE, FOR YOU OWN SAFETY, do not ride or walk at night without lights.
Thanksgiving PotluckSAC is thinking of holding a Thanksgiving Day potluck on November 23rd. We will supply the turkey and gravy but will need several people to make potatoes, dressing, veggies, etc. and, of course, dessert (pumpkin pie, any-one?). This is just in the planning stage so stay tuned.

Singles WantedPlease try to bring small bills to any activity that requires singles and/or fives (50/50, trivia, horse races, ice cream social, etc.). It is often difficult to make change for a $20. Thank you for your cooperation.

Resident Arts And Crafts ExhibitOn Thursday, January 16, 2020, SAC will be sponsor-ing an Arts and Crafts Exhibit in the Clubhouse Activity Room. Come witness the many talents of Sandalwood’s residents as they showcase their creativity. This exhibit will be open prior to and following the park’s Annual Meeting. If you have a talent you would like to share, please contact Susan Smith ([email protected]) in order that we can arrange the room accordingly. Space per exhibit will be determined by the number of participants. Reserved space must be made by No-vember 1, 2019. Although this is being promoted as an exhibit, participants will have the option to sell.
POTENTIAL EXHIBITORS: I know you are out there. I have only had a couple of responses. Please contact me as soon as possible as I want to get spaces allotted while I am down for a couple of weeks in November so you know what kind of space you have to work with. THANKS!!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!
