Hallmark Business School is the first institution started as a Standalone Business School

in Tiruchirappalli in 2008 and promoted by Sivagami Ramasamy Educational, Health &

Charitable Trust. Located at a distance of about 6 kms from Trichirappallai junction

slightly away from NH-45 Trichy-Dindugal Highway, it promises to be an ideal institution

for higher studies and research. The college has been built in an area of 3.12 acres with

an eco-friendly green cover. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical

Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Trichy. A

built in area of around 50,000 Sq.Ft. in two floors, accommodates class rooms, WiFi and

a well equipped computer lab with internet connectivity. Learning Resource Centre has

an excellent collection of Standard Text Books, National & International Journals. The

institution has a team of dedicated highly qualified and experienced faculty members

with doctorate degrees to take care of the students in all the spheres of the activity and

He is a renowned teacher of Entrepreneurship and has a good career in higher education that includes teaching, research and administration. He has a teaching experience of about 23 years and has guided master and doctoral research scholars. He has worked with various pedagogical institutions and has presented papers in many national and international conferences held at various countries like Srilanka, Thailand, South Africa and USA. He has received Best Paper Award for his presentation in USA in 2008. Recently he has been accredited as foreign expert/evaluator for Ph.D thesis in Management Science.

He is a University First Rank holder and also the recipient of Gold Medal from the

Government of Tamilnadu in 1972 in his P.G. Degree, having 25 years of research

experience. He has more than 40 years of experience and worked as Principal in

various Govt. Colleges. He has delivered a number of lectures at various academic

institutions and other organization. He has conducted numerous programs for the

budding managers in the field of management studies.

FOOD COURTStudents are served with a

LIBRARYThe HBS library, is an invaluable resources for students, researcher

and faculty of Business Management. The Library has been well

equipped with a collection of over 2375 volumes in 999 titles. 25

national journals, 25 international

journals, 106 Management Cd’s, 6000 E-

journals, 11 magazines and 8

newspapers are being subscribed

without any break. The library is also

equipped with back volumes with

national and international journals. The

library is located in a spacious inbuilt

area of over 150 sq. ft. and has been

provided with well equipped modern

furniture and fittings. The library is

functions from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on

all days without any break under open

access system.

The college has a total area of 2000 sq. ft. for the play ground,

well built courts are there for games like Volley ball, Shuttle cork

and Cricket etc. The indoor games are available for playing chess

and carrom board to encourage the students to participate in the

sports activities enthusiastically. Annual Sports Meet is

conducted in various games and athletic events. There are three

houses namely, Yellow, Red and Blue. Both boys and girls are

encouraged to participate with a good spirit. The students are

also encouraged to participate in the inter-collegiate sports

meet conducted by the Anna University of Technology

Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli.

SPORTS CLUB

HOSTELAt HBS, hostel accommodation is provided for male students and

female students separately. Fully furnished accommodation with cot,

individual table, chair and shelf with cupboard is provided. Located in

a greenish environment adjacent to the main academic building, the

hostel provides an airy and pleasant environment for an effective

learning. Boys hostel and the Girls hostel are managed by resident

male and female wardens respectively. 24 hours security is provided

for the hostel, geyser water heating system is made available for the

students in the hostel. Wi-Fi internet connection is provided to both

boys’ and girls’ hostel students.
