The story opens with the town of Güllen preparing for
the arrival of famed billionaire Claire Zachanas-
sian, who grew up there. Güllen has fallen on hard
times, and the townspeople hope that Claire will provide
them with much-needed funds.
She begins a flirtatious exchange with Alfred, who pretends to find her as delightful as ever, even though they are now both in their sixties and significantly overweight.
After settling into the hotel, Claire joins the rest of the town, who have gathered outside for a homecoming celebration.
Alfred goes for a ride in his son's newly purchased car, accompa-nied by his wife and daughter, both of whom are wearing new outfits. Alfred says that he is going for a walk in the woods before heading to the town meeting.
In the woods, Alfred comes across Claire,
who is walking with her newest husband. Claire
tells Alfred that she never stopped loving
him, but that over time her love has grown into something monstrous.
Alfred is killed by a townsman. Just as a reporter reappears in the auditorium, the doctor announces that Alfred has died of a heart attack. The reporters gather and declare that Alfred has died of joy.
Alfred heads to the railway station to escape, but finds
that the entire town is gathered there.
Alfred Ill, the owner of Güllen's general store and the most popular man in
town, was Claire's lover when they were young, and agrees with the mayor that
the task of convincing her to make a donation should fall
to him.

The Leech is an individual ongoing short film project, about a leech seller. Although it is pretty common in Turkish bazaars, he has something extraordinary. He raises his own leeches: helps them to reproduce, seperates mature and immature ones, feeds
them with fish, that he catches. Most importantly he looks after them on the rooftop.
One part is completely open and the staircase ends here. He spends most of his time, sitting his chair and drinking tea. He keeps mature leeches in oil tanks until they’re ready to be sold.
Other part is completeley closed, since immature leeches need dark, moisturized and quite space. He feeds them in plastic jars on shelves, next to his tools and the sink.

The shelter on terrace floor is a simple wooden structure, with a sloping roof of corrugated panels. For years, the leech seller has collected many things including tin panels, flattened metal buckets and tanks, posters, fabrics, wires, plastic curtains, metal
pipes to build these walls.
When you enter the shelter through metal door, a rusty sink introduces the space. If you look at your right, you see he had used a steel mesh to allow some air and light inside.
Plastic jars shines and let you see through theirselves. In moving leeches, you see the life.

“If I had a voice, I would sing.”
Ialemus in Greek mythology was the inventor of the song Ialemus, which was a kind of dirge, or at any rate a song of a very serious and mournful character, and is only mentioned as sung on most melancholy occasions.
In later times, this kind of poetry lost its popularity, and was ridiculed by the comic poets. Ialemus then became synonymous with cold and frosty poetry, and was used in this sense proverbially.
