Mandatory Units:• Entry 3 Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector• Entry 3 Presenting a professional image in the salon

Optional Units will include a combination of the following:• Create a hair and beauty image• Shampoo and conditioning• Plaiting and twisting• Styling Women’s Hair • Styling Men’s Hair• Skin care • Nail care• Basic Make-up Application

Course Assessment:Practical demonstrations and assignments.

Prior Learning Required: A genuine interest in the hairdressing and beauty industry.

Course Description: This is a creative course offering the opportunity to learn about a wide range of specialised services in hairdressing and beauty therapy. This course allows you to create an image on a theme incorporating the units that you will be studying. This course is project based.
