Basic Makeup Help
To do theater makeup, all you really need is some foundation, contour, blush, and highlight; which can be found at a dollar store or Target/Walmart. You can always buy nicer foundation and contour at Ulta and
Sephora.
Lights on stage can wash a person out so we use contour and highlight to help define our features.
After applying the foundation, then contour and
highlight. Apply some blush on your cheeks to make sure you don’t look pale, and to add a bit more liveliness to
your look. Then apply mascara, if the look calls for it, and end with some setting spray or baby powder to keep the
makeup from sweating off. (I will bring a lot of baby powder to the show).

Makeup is optional, as the audience is not very far away. You are welcome to use foundation for a more even look to your skin, and eyeliner and mascara if you want your eyes to stand out. Please be clean shaven- no facial hair.

The rest of the time, you may wear your hair however you’d like, or what you think your character would wear.
For makeup, use some mascara and put blush on your cheeks to show that your cheeks are rosy. You can add
freckles if you’d like! The easiest way to do that is with a brown eye liner pencil. Try to look young and adorable!

colored hair spray in your hair to make it seem like you’ve aged over the years…
