study from initial sketch to finished painting
The above portrait of fictional character Hagrid from the Harry Potter series is
a 90cm by 60cm portrait in oil paints on canvas box frame.I have photographed it here at intervals from initial
sketch to finished portrait to show how the paint is laid down and the painting worked towards final detail.
This one took a few days with an hour or so between the different portrayals
