2 LORD, I have heard the report about You and I fear. O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make it known;In wrath remember mercy.
FOCAL TRUTH:God revives His work in the midst of the years.
1. The prophet fears God in the midst of the years.

2. The prophet prays in faith for revival in the

3. The prophet pleas for God’s mercy in the midst

Observations
Things to Remember
1. Holy grief in prayer is a mark of godliness.
2. God is doing something today that is
unbelievable.
3. When God does something, He reveals it to His
secret ones – Amos 3:7 – surely the Lord God
does nothing, unless He reveals His secret
counsel to His servants the prophets.

4. The man of faith is a man that fears God.
5. In the midst of the years, hearts can grow cold
but God can warm them again!
6. Faith looks back and forward to what God has
done and what He promises to do!
Daily Use:1. Live by faith in the midst of the years.2. Rejoice in God’s care and grace in the midst of the
years.3. Wait on God in the midst of the years. Hab. 2:3- the
vision is for the appointed time, it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it, for it will certainly come, it will not delay.
