No prior knowledge about the subject is mandatory. However, basic industrial

work experience in the field where such activities are carried out is desirable.

On completion of this course the candidate will be able to identify the

properties and sources of H2S and Sulphur Dioxide as well as learn how to

manage the risk of exposure; they will be able to operate a personal H2S

monitor in accordance with the procedures; they will be able to inspect,

store, don, and use the breathing apparatus supplied for training purposes,

in accordance with the procedures; They will be able to identify their emergency

procedures according to a management plan during an H2S emergency
