Fourth Sunday of Advent ◊ December 20, 2015
2016 Mass intention book is open
Please bring or mail your Mass in-
tention list to the office so we can
start scheduling Masses for 2016.
No Mass intentions will be scheduled
from previous lists, so even if you
have given us a list in the past, you
should submit a new one.
From our Pastor:
In this sacred season,
as we pray
“Come, Lord Jesus,”
may we truly rejoice in the gift
of being loved so completely
by the Father.
May we fall in silence
before the mystery of Jesus,
God made flesh in our midst.
May the life of the Spirit
that came upon Mary
at the conception of Jesus
fall into each of our hearts.
Pray!
Rejoice!
Fall silent, and be glad!
Christmas blessings, Fr. Peter, OSB

Christmas celebration this evening
Bring your family -- Holy
Family’s big Christmas
celebration is tonight!
We’ll begin at 5 pm, out
front, for the blessing and
lighting of our Christmas
tree. We’ll move into the
church for Lessons & Car-
ols, followed by CCD’s
Nativity Play. Then we’ll
join in a Family Christmas
Dinner in the hall. Bring
your best side dish to
share; meat and drinks
will be provided. We’d
love for you to come!
Help Center appeal
Holy Family has been
asked to continue donat-
ing canned tuna to go
into the boxes distributed
by the Help Center. They
are looking for the water-
packed tuna in 5-oz cans.
Tuna is especially useful
because it is a lean pro-
tein that does not require
cooking. Thank you for
your ongoing generosity
with food items and
monetary donations.
Men’s Group cooks for us next Sunday morning
The monthly Parish
Breakfast will take place
next Sunday, Dec 27, af-
ter the 8:30 Mass. Next
Sunday is the patronal
feast of our parish, the
Feast of the Holy Family.
How fitting to celebrate
by relaxing, enjoying
each other’s company,
and sharing a meal to-
gether.
Prepare the way
There’s one more oppor-
tunity for the Sacrament
of Reconciliation before
Christmas. Fr Peter will
hear confessions this
Wednesday, Dec 23,
from 5:15-5:45 pm. Let
the rough and winding
ways of our hearts be
made level and straight
for the coming of Jesus.
Religious Education notes
CCD classes resume on
Sunday, January 10.
Y-Prep resumes on
Wednesday January 13.
Mary said,
“Behold, I am
the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me
according to your word.”
~ Luke 1:38
