The National Honor Society hosted a Winter Ball Dance on February 28, 2020. There were many snacks and drinks available including pizza, chips, drinks, and soda. Free slices of pizza were given out to high honor students! Those who attended had a great time and all funds raised are going towards the club’s funds for future events.

HS Library News: For the month of February, the High School Library had a few fun contests for students and staff to participate in. We had a contest where the students had to guess how many Lego's were in the jar. Dylan Dillberg guessed 457 and won first prize! Mrs. Multari and Jayda Griffin came in with the second closest guess with 450. There were 481 Legos in all. Our next contest was to guess the amount of heart shaped Peppermint Patties in the jar for Valentine’s Day. Isabelle Scully had the winning guess (closest without going over) with 76.

Our last contest this month was our guess the book in the jar, which was won by Molly Bartels, Rachel Restko, Kiersten Vignera, Sarah Tyner, Kaitlyn Kull, and Grace Mathes. They all guessed the book correctly. The book in the jar was Divergent by Veronica Roth. This month we also celebrated the Global School Day of Play on February 3 and set up numerous fun games for the students to play. (See photos.) Ryan Ulcsht had a blast with the ZomeTool set. Each day thereafter he came into the library and made something new. Lastly, we leaped into Leap year with our origami frog races. Mrs. Space beat Ms. Taylor by one jump.
