H I M (Hartwell Interdenominational Ministries) is in need of volunteers for several positions. ‘Hartwell Helps’ is a contributor to H I M and they need volunteers to answer the phone, get the proper information, and give messages to the Director, Christina Silpe. These volunteers are not responsible for solving situations; just for answering phone calls. A phone system is being set up now to allow these volunteers to use their phone at home. Also ‘Hartwell Helps’ needs someone interested in working in the office one day a week to give Christina a break. There will be training for this position. H I M is setting up a ‘Money Management Program’. These volunteers will have a short training period to learn how to mentor in money management. The qualifications are to be a financially-responsible adult who can manage and balance a check book. This is one way to help those in need, so that they can help themselves move forward and to become independent. Our Pastor is a Board Member of H I M and Sardis is a financial contributor. H I M is able to give the correct aid to those who need it. It’s one organization in control of all situations in which everyone gets a fair share. It also eliminates giving to those who are imposters. Anyone interested in volunteering please contact Judy Voigt, 706-376-0741.

FAITH & FAMILY FUN NIGHTS will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22 and will continue each Wednesday through July 27. There will NOT be a family night meal at these events. Family night meals will resume on Wednesday, August 3. Make plans for your family to attend these nights of fun & fellowship!

ATTENTION CHILDREN! Beginning on July 3, and continuing through the month of July, children (preschool through 5th grade) who attend Sunday School at least 4 of the 5 Sundays will be recognized with a trip to Chuck-e- Cheese's Pizza on Sunday, July 31st after morning worship.
