Youth Group: Bonfires at Boonstras! | Wed. June 24 & July 8, 6-8pm Middle School & High School teens are invited to fun nights of food, yard games, devotionals, & s’mores at Pastor Nick & Ashley’s home on June 24 & July 8 from 6-8 pm. The Boonstras live at 12595 Bass Road, Middleville. Incoming 6th graders are invited to this event.
Tithes and Offerings As a precaution against COVID-19 we will not be passing the plate to collect the offering. Instead, please give using the black collection box in the small foyer. You can also give online at fbcmiddleville.net/giving. This summer is an ideal time for you to set up reoccurring online giving!
Congregational Meeting | July 12 at 6pm The next quarterly Congregational Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, July 12 at 6:00 pm.
Missions Committee Update At the June 14 meeting the Missions Committee voted to send extra gifts of $1,000 each to David’s House, Lincoln Lake Camp, Dannenbergs (BMM, Central African Republic), and Negrus (WOL, Greece). We have also been in contact with a church in Midland Michigan to inquire about ways to help their community after the severe flooding they had. They expressed a need for skilled labor (handmen, electricians, dry wall, carpenters, etc.) If you might be interested in a service trip to Midland please contact Justin Emelander or our church office.
Simplified Summer Schedule Because of the COVID-19 situation most church gatherings other than AM Worship will not resume until a later date, to be determined. Until then, we will not have Café, Sunday School, kids programs, nursery, or the PM service. VBS has been canceled for this summer as well. Some programs and special events may be added back in during the summer. Please do not attend services if you have a temperature, if you are sick, or if you have reason to believe you are a health risk to others. If you are especially vulnerable or concerned about health issues, please consider the wisdom of worshipping online during this time. Online service is 9am at facebook.com/firstbaptistmiddleville.
